High-Voltage Lithium Storage System by Huawei
The HUAWEI LUNA2000 consists of a power control module and battery expansion modules. It stores and releases electrical energy as per the inverter management system’s requirements. The LUNA2000 battery features high-voltage direct current (DC) input and output ports.
Battery and Charging
- The power control module connects to the inverter’s battery terminals (BAT+ and BAT–).
- Under the inverter’s control, it charges the batteries and stores surplus photovoltaic energy.
Battery Discharge
- When photovoltaic energy is insufficient, the system controls the batteries to supply power to the loads.
- The battery energy is sent to the loads through the inverter.
Battery Capacity Description
- The battery supports power and capacity expansion.
- Two power control modules can be connected in parallel.
- A single power control module can support up to three battery expansion modules.
Multiple Scenario and Operation Modes
- Supports various operational modes such as grid-connected, off-grid, and self-consumption.
- Users can check the total discharge capacity in real-time over the product’s lifecycle.
