Self-Consumption Photovoltaic Panels

A PV module is an assembly of photo-voltaic cells mounted in a frame work for installation. Photo-voltaic cells use sunlight as a source of energy and generate direct current electricity. A collection of PV modules is called a PV Panel, and a system of Panels is an Array. Arrays of a photovoltaic system supply solar electricity to electrical equipment.

System Outline

In the systems of direct self-consumption with Huawei inverter, all models of the SUN2000L KTL single-phase range are red-connected inverters that offer directly and without the need to add any additional components, the possibility of working directly with a high-quality LG Lithium battery voltage. You can have a system that directly contributes to the energy produced by solar panels to electricity consumption in real-time. If production is higher than consumption, energy will be used to charge the battery so that we can contribute during times of low production or at night.

The entire single-phase range of Huawei directly incorporates a connector on which we will connect the power of the LG high-voltage battery, not requiring any additional interface or component. It is an economical installation, given the characteristics that an installation of this type can offer us and that we need to add the cost of the battery, being able to choose between the 7kWh or 10kWh model.

Our self-consumption installation can be started with hybrid inverter and panels. In the future it can be complemented with the charge in batteries, in case our consumption pattern does not coincide mostly with the hours of greatest production. The energy that the panels have provided in sunny hours, the tendency we store to be able to use at another time, minimizing the use of energy from the electricity grid.

The Huawei inverter is interconnected with the power grid, so it is necessary that it is always available, and the energy produced by the panels is injected as a first priority to our consumption. Thanks to this, we will reduce our billing because our electrical installation will make use of solar energy as the first priority, and according to our preferences also the battery rather than the electricity network. All this is imperceptible to use since we will not notice anything at all when all energy sources are combined or specifically we supply solar energy.

These installations have a depreciation time greater than the equivalent without increase, although thanks to the high number of battery life cycles and not requiring any maintenance, they can be very interesting depending on our consumption profile. It is highly recommended to have a time discrimination rate that reduces the cost of the energy consumed outside the hours of solar production, so we can also charge the battery from the network if there are several days of bad weather in hours in the That energy is more economical.

There are 6 models of hybrid Huawei inverters that offer single-phase current between 2000 and 5000W, although it is necessary to take into account the working voltage from panels is significantly lower if we are going to use the system with a battery. You can see in the Huawei application from your smartphone and also from the web portal the graphs of production, savings and overall performance of your solar installation. One of the main features of the Huawei range is that it incorporates very good features and great performance for the price they have, including also standard Wi-Fi connectivity, although it must be taken into account that for the system to work completely to the inverter you have to add the wattmeter that measures our energy demand.

In the photovoltaic kit, we will include all the necessary components for the installation and the correct functioning of the system.
ESPSC Monocrystalline Solar Module

The 400W monocrystalline solar panel ERA is a 24V model and 72 PERC type cells. With 25 years of power guarantee, it offers the best performance on the market thanks to monocrystalline silicon cells and PERC type. It belongs to the family of 24V panels, although given the high power it provides, it is advisable to use MPPT regulators respecting the recommended series and groupings. This solar panel is the most powerful and that best behaviour for all radiation conditions, even for high-temperature thanks to its PERC technology. Thanks to having the same size as the 330W models, we can have much more capacity to capture energy with the same occupied space. It is able to provide about 2000Wh per day on average in our solar installation, taking into account that production will be substantially higher in summer than in winter. Includes 90 cm of wiring for each pole with MC4 connectors at its ends. This photovoltaic module comes with an assembled aluminium frame ready to be attached to any structure.

Solar Inverter SolaX X1 Mini 1100VA

The single-phase grid connection inverter will provide us with real-time production of the panels to our 230V consumptions that we have in our electrical installation for every moment. This Solax model is one of the smallest models available, perfect for residential or domestic use. It offers great performance at the best price because thanks to its internal MPPT we will get the maximum production possible. The inverter starts up with only the energy of 3 solar panels and includes communications to be able to configure it so that the surplus of production that we do not use is not poured into the electricity grid. The inverter does not have a transformer, thanks to its lightness and compact construction, it can be located both outdoors and indoors. It has a 5-year warranty.

Inverter Red Kostal Piko 1.5-1 MP Plus (hybrid)

This is a Kostal brand network connection inverter that can be classified as a hybrid since it is capable of working with high voltage lithium batteries to store the surplus of photovoltaic production in our self-consumption installation. It can offer up to 5500W of power as long as it has enough radiation. Its operation is like that of any three-phase network connection inverter with the advantage that this Kostal inverter incorporates up to 3 MPP followers for greater versatility. It includes communications to be able to monitor the solar installation through the internet. To work with batteries, the activation license of the functionality and the battery itself must be purchased separately. This Kostal inverter is perfect for small and medium residential installations or for small businesses. The inverter is guaranteed for 5 years and is prepared to work outdoors thanks to its IP65.

Solar inverter Huawei SUN2000L-2kW KTL Monof.

This Huawei SUN2000L-2KTL Inverter with an output power of 2000W is characterized by being prepared to work in network connection facilities. To an installation with this type of installation, you can add high voltage LG Chem RESU batteries to store the excess energy and consume it on the days when the consumption is higher than the photovoltaic production and for the supply during the night hours. This inverter has an integrated signal repeater that allows communication between inverters because the Wi-Fi signal is transferred from one Huawei inverter to another. This is very interesting for large-scale photovoltaic installations that require several inverters and that otherwise would limit communication between them. We also have first-order technical features, such as 2 MPPT followers to be able to have 2 orientations with the panels, IP65 protection and manufacturer warranty of 10 years among others.

Wattmeter EM112DIN Carlo Gavazzi

The EM112DIN Carlo Gavazzi Wattmeter is an energy meter compatible with installations that work in single-phase current. This device is used to be able to know precisely the electrical consumption that we request from our installation. In this way, the meter communicates it to the grid connection inverter so that it can adapt the output power to the consumption that we are having at each moment.

It is a device that allows, if we wish, not to spill the surplus of solar production that we are not using. It also serves to be able to measure the energy requirement we have and, because the inverter knows what we are capable of producing, we will have a comparison between the energy produced and the energy required.

This wattmeter serves us for a direct measurement of up to 100A and has an 8-digit LCD display.

Structure on metal roof or inclined roof

The structure on the metal roof or inclined surface is perfect for the occasions when the ceiling of the installation site has an optimal orientation and inclination. It can be of metal surface, a sandwich panel or concrete surface since this structure basically consists of stringers to position the panels. The structure that we include for this solar kit includes all the necessary hardware for mounting the solar panels to it, except for what is necessary for anchoring the structure itself to the roof or floor, since it will be a function of this surface. The structure has a very simple assembly manual. If you need another type of structure in your kit, contact us so that we can budget and change it according to your needs.
